The Allen Golf family grieves the loss of recent teammate, Jordan Davis, who lost his life on the 27th of December. Jordan was a 2020 graduate of AHS and 4-year member the AHS golf team. Jordan was a freshman at Sam Houston State where he was pursuing a degree in PGA Management and business administration. Jordan had a passion for golf, spending endless hours practicing and playing. He competed and had success in many junior golf tournaments in the Dallas area since the age of 13. Jordan's favorite memories of AHS golf were the Lake Kiowa tournament in 2017 and the Bart Granger tournament his senior year. His favorite course to play was the Dye Course at Stonebridge Ranch, and he aspired to hit the links at Pebble Beach. His most memorable shot was holing out for eagle on a blind 2nd shot at Watters Creek. The Allen golf family, especially Jordan's teammates and coaches, send support and prayers to the Davis family. Jordan is survived by his dad, Bob, and sister, Alyssa. Jordan was loved and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be shared at a future date, but you can share your favorite memory of Jordan at https://www.weremember.com/jordan-davis/6i4n/memories.

The Allen golf team lost a member of its legacy, Bobby Dalton, on the 3rd of November. A member of the 2006 - 2008 teams, Bobby’s love for golf continued at Davis and Elkins University and Gleneagles Country Club as a golf professional. His dedication to the game was reflected in his work ethic and his support for his teammates. Now, there's a band of brothers and 2008 golf grads who share memories and lean on their friendships to honor Bobby. Coaches, Gravley, Stal and Adam, were honored to watch Bobby grow into a team leader and use his light-hearted personality to influence others. Bobby, may you soar high on eagle’s wings. Please remember the Dalton family as they seek peace during this difficult time. Through this time, may we all reflect on the friendships shared in the Allen golf family.
